Weston super Mare Golf Course - An 18 hole links course of 6279 yards situated alongside the sand dunes; it commands views of the Axe Valley, the Welsh Coast and Mountains. Superbly maintained, the course provides a good test for the experienced golfer and plenty of encouragement for the beginner.

 

Brean Golf Course - At 5715 yards par 69, this meadowland golf course is a must for all enthusiasts. Contact: 01278 752111

 

Middlemoor Waterpark - Contact: 01278 685578 Water-ski, Jet-ski, Banana Boat or Wakeboard. All manner of water-based activities, seven days a week.

 

Rock Sports - Caving, Climbing and Abseiling at Cheddar, for beginners and professionals with equipment provided. The activities take place on well-maintained sites, registered with the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. Contact: 01934 742343

 

South West Karting - Situated at Cheddar, this is one of the largest race tarmac tracks in the South West, with 200cc race karts. Contact: 07000 616161

Fishing - Sea fishing is available along the sea front at Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea or through chartering a boat for the day. Also coarse fishing at Northam Farm.
